So, it's been about 6 weeks since everything changed in my own personal part of the world, but I know that time frame is different all over...
I have been meaning to share about my own personal yoga practice for QUITE some time, had grand ideas of blogging every time I try a new video or re-visit an old one, have even taken notes in anticipation...
but life. You know...that thing that happens in between sleeps? And I may NEVER get that part of the blog going. Or maybe I wi
Christian Yoga: is it ok, or not? I get this question a LOT. Or, I have folks asking me for insight about it. *Recently, another friend asked me to watch a video she had just seen on a news program, about an article written against yoga as Christians, and I thought: “why have I not shared this in a public post, rather than just one-by-one incidences?” This is taken from that latest interaction*… (*Note: this post falls under the "From the Archives" category, meaning it is a s
This series was designed primarily for those folks who have been wanting to try yoga, especially Christ-focused styles, but have been intimidated by the unknown of "what will happen when I show up? Happy Labor Day Weekend, ever'body!!!
In one of my devotional studies this year, God revealed to me that our true "labor" should be laboring to enter into His rest. The rest that He provided through the finished work of Jesus on the Cross. And did you know that before Jesus went to the Cross, He bequeathed to you and I who follow and believe Him, HIS Shalom? Shalom in Hebrew is not just a greeting like Ciao, or Aloha...its meaning goes deeper. It means Welfare/Well-being, He
